Mike Ruffolo is a continuing agent of change at McKeany-Flavell. Since his first days with the company, he has filled many roles as we have evolved, maintaining a tireless effort to improve all facets of the company.
After graduating with a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Knox University, Mike served as an officer in the U.S. Army Field Artillery. He began his career with the A.E. Staley Mfg. Company in 1959, and moved to San Francisco in 1966 with his wife, Pat, to join a small but growing company called McKeany-Flavell.
Mike was elected President of the company in 1978, and served in this capacity for over 19 years.

For some of our clients, one notable constant in their purchasing program over the years has been Ray Washmera. Since joining McKeany-Flavell in 1978, he has played an instrumental role in defining our reputation in the trade as a resource that enhances the buying and selling of ingredients. His dedication is the reason behind some of our most solid and longstanding relationships.
Ray has been instrumental in redefining our role in the commodity ingredient industries over the past twenty-five years; he became president of McKeany-Flavell in 1997.
Ray holds a degree in Economics from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University.

As the head of our ingredient sales division, Bill tackles the concerns of our largest clients.
With over 23 years of experience in the sugar business, and nearly as many in cocoa, Bill continues to oversee these two challenging categories, delivering consistently excellent results for our customers and principals alike.
Bill has been with McKeany-Flavell since 1981. He earned a degree in Accounting and Economics from Utah State University.

Steve heads our information sales division, and has provided vital counsel to the top food and beverage companies in the United States, and indeed, the world.
Steve is an acknowledged expert in the sweetener markets, as evidenced by his many speaking engagements at industry events over the years. Since joining the company in 1976, Steve has cultivated our information offerings in sweeteners and other ingredients.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from Long Beach State University.

As our Director of Operations, Dianne has developed a significant portion of the systems, procedures, and technology used throughout McKeany-Flavell today. She joined the company in 1976 with a background in her family's fruit growing and processing business, and extensive computer systems development with a major hotel firm in London. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Dianne guides company operations, monitors the financial area, and continues to develop tools and systems to meet the evolving needs of our company and our clients.

At the center of activity stands Sherry Bromberg, our Office Manager. With a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati, vast managerial experience in the food and beverage industries, and longtime expertise in information technology, she is well suited to supervise the daily workings of the company. With Dianne, Sherry works continually to improve our tools and systems to meet the growing and diverse needs of our people.

With over 25 years of experience in managing sales, product development, and multifunctional teams in the ingredient and food service industries, John successfully established the fruit categories at McKeany-Flavell after joining the company in 1991.
John has effectively grown other parts of the business, impacting the nutmeat, corn sweetener, sugar, cocoa, and edible oil areas. He lends his experience to our intelligence services as well, actively helping clients achieve their goals. He matriculated at San Francisco State University with a major in Biology.

Craig leads our efforts in information sales, working with clients to ensure we deliver the critical intelligence they need. As the needs of our customers have developed in recent years, he has also helped establish our information product development efforts.
Since joining McKeany-Flavell in 1995, Craig has developed expertise in several categories - sugar, corn sweeteners, coffee, honey, and edible oils - making frequent speaking engagements for international audiences on behalf of the company. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.

Kevin joined McKeany-Flavell in 1999, quickly becoming our point person on the Mexican sugar industry. He is now working to increase our expertise in the edible oils category, and has played a pivotal role in establishing our nutmeat business. In addition, his contributions to sweetener and fruit sales continue to augment these important categories.
Kevin received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

The newest member of McKeany-Flavell's sales team, Mike has jumped quickly into the complex world of commodity ingredients. He is currently heading the effort in marketing our dairy product services, and brings a solid sales background and positive energy to the entire company.
